Our Story
It started in the chair,
not in a lab.
Crown Care was built by a working loc specialist, to solve the problems she was meeting every single week.
I have spent years with my hands in locs — starting them, repairing them, and looking closely at the scalps underneath them. The same problems came up again and again. Buildup that shampoo could not reach. Dryness that came back by day three. Scalps that needed calm long before they needed growth.
I tried what was on the shelf. Most of it was made for hair in general, not for locs specifically — and a lot of it left more behind than it took away.
If it did not solve a problem I saw weekly,
it did not make the line.
The range
So I built what I wanted to reach for.
Crown Care is six formulas, and every one exists because I kept meeting the problem it solves. Nothing is in the range to pad it out.
They are designed to be used in order, not in isolation — which is why the Crown Wellness System matters more than any single bottle. Clean ingredients, small batches, and formulas that rinse clean on wash day.
The boutique
Where all of it comes from.
Très Beaux Loc Boutique is the salon behind the range — starter locs, retwists, interlocks, crochet roots, extensions and Crown Therapy scalp treatments. It is also a scalp wellness bar, where an appointment can begin with a proper look at the scalp under magnification rather than a guess. Every formula was tested here first, on real heads, before it ever reached a bottle.
The academy
And where I teach it.
The second thing I kept meeting was stylists who wanted to do loc work properly and had nowhere to learn it. Très Beaux Academy is that answer — hands-on training in starter locs, repair and reattachment, extensions and speed technique.
